Résumé
Notre étude intitulée « Apport du patrimoine culturel à la relecture de l’histoire de Mbalkabra », s’inscrit dans la logique de la valorisation de l’identité culturelle des Ngambaye. La tradition orale et plusieurs documents écrits ont attesté les indices historiques qui sont considérés comme une richesse culturelle de ce canton, à travers le patrimoine culturel matériel et immatériel. L’usure du temps et la mauvaise conservation de ces biens culturels ont fait qu’il y a un manque de considération et la méconnaissance de cette identité culturelle. Face à ce problème, il est nécessaire de contribuer à la relecture de l’histoire du canton Mbalkabra à travers le résultat de notre inventaire sur le patrimoine culturel matériel et immatériel de cette communauté.
Abstract
Our study, titled “Contribution of Cultural Heritage to the Reinterpretation of Mbalkabra's History”, aligns with the effort to promote the cultural identity of the Ngambaye people. Oral traditions and several written records have confirmed historical evidence considered a cultural wealth of this canton, reflected through its tangible and intangible cultural heritage. However, the effects of time and poor preservation of these cultural assets have led to a lack of recognition and understanding of this cultural identity. To address this issue, it is essential to contribute to the reinterpretation of Mbalkabra's history through the results of our inventory of the tangible and intangible cultural heritage of this community.
