Dans le monde, beaucoup de personnes meurent de maladies et/ou de la
sous-alimentation. Mais, la majorité d’Africains, particulièrement les Sara (Tchad), estiment que la maladie et la mort sont souvent causées par un maléfice. Selon ces derniers, les sorciers ensorcellent leurs victimes en leur jetant des mauvais sorts. Pour être délivrées, celles-ci recourent aux désenvoûteurs. En fait, l’action de la sorcellerie ne se règle que par la sorcellerie. Pour saisir cette thèse, nous avons compulsé les documents spécialisés qui traitent des faits paranormaux et exploité quelques témoignages. Il en ressort qu’en Afrique, la sorcellerie apparaît comme la principale cause des maladies et de la mort, et ses impacts sur l’homme dépassent la médecine.

Abstract
In the world, many people die from disease and/or malnutrition. But the
majority of Africans, particularly Sara (Chad), believe that death and disease are often caused by an evil spell. In their opinion, sorcerers clamp down their victims by throwing at them the bad doom. To set themselves free from that spell, victims run to witch doctors for recovery. It in fact, through sorcery that one can solve a sorcery problem. To understand this thesis, we have compiled some specialized documents which deal with the paranormal facts and also have exploited a few testimonials. The resultant yield is that in Africa, sorcery is considered as the main cause for diseases and also death, and it impacts man’s life beyond the limits of modern medicine.
