Fondée sur l’approche postcoloniale et la sociocritique, la présente étude décrypte les pouvoirs politique, économique et social tels qu’ils sont gérés dans la société postcoloniale tchadienne. Elle se préoccupe de démontrer l’enlisement de la post-colonie dans tous les aspects sus-évoqués et impute singulièrement cette faillite de progrès aux dirigeants postcoloniaux. Quel visage revêt le pouvoir colonial et à quoi conduit un mode de gouvernance calqué sur le modèle des méthodes dictatoriales adopté par les anciens maîtres ? Bien plus, les nouveaux gouvernants en question ne s’adonnent-ils pas à cœur joie à la dictature avec toutes les conséquences que cela suppose au niveau interne du pays ? Le présent article démontre comment, se sentant redevables à la métropole, source de leur pouvoir politique, lesdits responsables dilapident les ressources économiques de leurs pays pour graisser la patte aux occidentaux, afin d’obtenir d’eux la faveur et s’éterniser au pouvoir.

Abstract.Based on the postcolonial and socio-critical approach, this study deciphers the political, economic and social powers as they are managed in Chadian post-colonial society. It is concerned to demonstrate the stalemate of post-colony in all the above-mentioned aspects and singularly imputes this failure of progress to postcolonial leaders. What is the face of colonial power and to what does a mode of governance modeled on the dictatorial methods adopted by the former masters lead? Moreover, do not the new rulers in question give themselves to the dictatorship with joy and all the consequences that entails at the internal level of the country? This article shows how, feeling indebted to the metropolis, the source of their political power, the said officials squander the economic resources of their countries to grease the paws of the Westerners, in order to obtain from them favor and drag on to power
