Aujourd’hui, grâce à la rumeur, Internet n’est plus un simple outil d’information, mais davantage un instrument de propagande dont on peut désormais se servir pour lutter, combattre ou exprimer des positions légitimes face aux gouvernements qui non seulement oppressent, mais surtout ne satisfont pas les attentes de leur peuple. Abstract. It is generally agreed that the rumour keeps changing, asking new questions to the society. However, there is no doubt that it is a deregulation of the information on internet and social media. Its dazzling propensity in the world has changed human behaviour, spawned new modes of communication and even allowed some people to free themselves from any form of authority. Today, thanks to rumour, the internet is no longer a simple information tool, but more an instrument of propaganda which we can now use to fight or to express legitimate positions vis-à-vis Governments that not only oppress, but above all do not meet the expectations of their people.
