Abstract
Under the effect of the demographic growth, recurring drynesses and changes of policies agricultural and pastoral, one attended during three last decades with rapids transformations of the modes of farm and pastoral Chad. These evolutions during which, one passed from the itinerant farming systems containing long fallow to the fixed farming systems, "without fallow", and also by a pastoral nomadism to a sedentarisation of the stockbreeders, were accompanied by a progressive change by the rules of use of space and state of its occupation. This thesis proposed to recall the great stages of this dynamics joined of the territories and the farm and pastorale of the grounds and to analyze the reciprocal relations between dynamic agrarian and dynamic territorial starting from case studies, the department of Mayo-Boneye in the western south of Chad. The fact that this dynamics of the territories is far from being uniform, not only on a regional scale but also on the local scale, that of the village territories between 1986 and 2001 resulted in questioning us on the causes of this space-time heterogeneity and the consequences on the evolution of the social reports/ratios within the rural communities and on the development and the application of the laws and regulations aiming at a better management of the ground. The application of the controlled classification method with the help of the algorithm of the verisimilitude maximum permitted to achieve the cards of soil occupation from TM pictures (1986) and ETM+ (2001) of Landsat with a rate of respective global classification of 97% and 98%. The diachronic analysis of these cards showed that a meaningful reduction of the savannas of the order of 24.59% and an increase of the fields and the naked soils of the order of 9.81% and 35.83%. On a sample of socioeconomic and demographic determining factors, choose, one could construct a model. The model could serve to drift the fore castings of the probability rates for every factor susceptible to explain the dynamics of use then. While analyzing this model, it appears that no factor explains an obvious and individual way the dynamics of the territories The set of actions formulated from the main elements expositions challenge, various bases, the partners implied in the management of the territories whose interactions can be fertile only through one observatory of the territories, the purpose of which is to get tracks of reflection and discussion for a controlled management of the rural areas in Chad.
